Cucumis sativus

My only cucumber and boy was it delicious!! I couldnt even save any for my vinegar, I love home grown cucumbers they tend to be more juicy and crunchy.

Caterpillars went to town in the leaves but the little cucumbers growing still look good

It kinda took off before I was ready to make it stationary on a stick 😂 so now its like rooted underneath my porch area where I almost forgot about it

Getting ready for a big move to ridgeville, which is an hour drive from where i live. I HAVE 6 DAYS UNTIL I MOVE!!! Yes ill gratefully take any tips on how to move goldfish and plants safely. I have only 1 plant thats in the ground and its a baby apple tree.

@cyndi that was my next question 😂 to see if i could leave the apple tree in the container because i have no idea if im allowed to plant anything in the ground or not

@cyndi i have 1 koi and 1 butteryfly koi and 4 comet goldfish 1 oranda all in one fish pond and the clear 50 gallon Tupperware i have 3 other regular goldfish and then inside i have 3 fantails and then a redfinned shark

@cyndi they are bigger than my hand they wont survive in the baggie. Well the ones outside cant

Im doing a restart on the cucumbers since mine got attacked by slugs earlier in their growing time 🤗

@cyndi oh ok thanks for the help ill probably just do what I did last year and tie the vine up a stick. Only for now since im moving soon so i cant make anything to permanent right now

@cyndi im doing the best i can right now and i already have the fruit positioned off the soil with a cut piece of plastic cup and the stem is tied gently on a stick

Ill get a pic tomorrow its dark and raining outside right now and ill put a piece of cardboard under the baby cucumber tomorrow instead of the piece of plastic 😊🤗

@cyndi its in a container. Both plants i have together are kinda small and they are in a 5 gallon black container. Ill tag you in the pic tomorrow morning 😊
