@kez001 Hey Kez thank you! Oh no I'm sorry you don't have any luck with them. These are the first ones I've had. I got them last year, they were selling them off. I wasn't sure they'd come back but the grass looked nice!😃Then I spotted cute little spears ❤
Hi Christine, my mum planted some red hot pokers about 60 years ago, the house has gone now but the red hot pokers are still growing where her garden was, but now there are so many more, I dug one up last year and replanted it in my garden. @midnightgardener
@gosmanalf Gosh 60 years ago!! A long time, incredible that they're still growing. Wonderful too that you've got one in your garden now. A special something to remember loved ones 😊😊❤❤
They're looking good. Mine are lagging behind this year. Might need to move them, as a new arch with a rampant wisteria on it is putting them literally in the shade!
@jeatacake What a coincidence! I just sent you a message about my Tiny Tim Euphorbia. Oohh they won't like being put in the shade nobody puts baby in the shade!😃I only know this because my pokers are in a sunny spot and as you can see they're thriving!! I've been ruthless tonight 😈I took the loppers to my older Budleja and have cut it right back! It had finished fowering but wasn't at its best this year. The stalks were very woody and the inner leaves were yellow. 😨
Great minds...... You're right, they need to be in full sun & I must move them, as they are definitely not thriving 😞 You did the right thing with your buddleia. It should grow back much better & be rejuvenated 👍
I'm.so happy with these, 😊😊I just had to post them again as they're more orangey now!!❤❤
They look great! I wish I could get them to grow in my garden 🧡💛
