Acer 'Aureum'. Love the way the evening sun catches the leaves.

Can an acer be planted with multi purpose compost or do they require an ericasious soil? (Excuse spelling!) bought my first acer weekend @mikethegardener

Hi @Cazx Ericaceous is better, mixed with some John Innes No 3 (about 50/50). Keep it well watered in summer. You'll have to post a picture😊
