Good morning folks! Well can you believe it’s a Bank Holiday Monday....? The sun is still shining!! Weird!! 😂. This is Tiarella cordifolia and it’s perfect for partial shade. Looks great in a woodland garden 😊

@mikethegardener Goodmorning I’ve recently bought one of these and you’ve answered my question of where to place it. I liked the foamy flowers. 😊🙏🏼👍🏼☀️☀️

Tiarella, the foam flower, springing into life again. Another little woodland garden gem.

Hi Mike I never seem to have any luck with these for some reason. I've tried Tapestry twice to no avail ☹️ what's your trick ?

@icedance Hi Sam. What type of soil do you have? How much sun did they get?

Part shade reasonable neutral loam but it can get a bit waterlogged in winter on that side . Could that be the issue ?

@icedance Hi Sam, yes they like some moisture but well drained also important. I think the waterlogging might be the problem.

Thanks Mike realised when I wrote it down I may have answered my own question.. will try again with a combination of grit and leave mould in the planting hole . Many thanks
