Not too long ago, I was able to score more bricks and soil. Decided to make this planter box and rehome some drought-tolerant plants and succulents. Aside from making the garbage bin area look a bit better, it also provides more habitat for #bluebelly lizards. 12Sept2020 #succulentgarden #SceloporusOccidentalis
The #Aeonium, BTW, had been overwhelmed by larger plants during this growing season. It had been in so much shade that it lost a lot of its sunscreening pigmentation. (Swipe left to see the difference.)

Decided to photograph this #Aeonium (in a Mexican #talavera pot) as I transported it from the front (where it's been getting a lot of bright sunlight) to the back of the house for some topdressing (although I'll probably just plant smaller succulents around it instead). I don't remember when or where I got this plant, but I'm under the impression that I didn't buy it. An easy winner, it's been steady over the years and hasn't given me any problems. #succulentsunday 21Apr2019

After I relocated this guy to a sunnier spot, the leaves started to take off.
