A few days after I had schlepped my Brugs indoors, this hitchhiker made her presence known by munching away on large portions of the leaves. Today, she encased herself in silk. By the time she emerges as a #cabbagelooper #moth (Trichoplusia ni) in 18-25 days, I'd like to think that she'll be in a U.S.A. that will take better care of the natural environment. 4Nov2020 #wildlifewednesday #caterpillar

Some months ago, I bought two #Brugmansia cuttings for $5 each. They both died. Last week, I came across an online ad offering a bunch of leftover plants from a plant sale. These free Brugs were part of an awesome haul that included #caneBegonia s, an #AbutilonMegapotamicum "Little Imp", a #WhiteVelvet #TradescantiaSillamontana, and a bunch of other beauties.
