The #bulbine in my little #succulentgarden is in bloom. I'm not sure how this area became a #damselfly (can you find it?) hotspot, but the gnats that are drawn to the flowers are most probably a welcome bonus for the dainty winged predators. 22Aug2020

One of my favorite people at work introduced this plant to me the first time we hung out socially. One of my criteria for selecting plants is that they get more attractive/interesting as they mature. Being able to thrive on neglect is another criterion.
