This is the first and only orchid I've bought since I moved to CA. This is an old photo. I've since added another #phalaenopsis (rescued from my sister, who wasn't into it) and a #tillandsiaxerographica to the pot. They are cosy buddies.
Cute! I have one of this exact same kind. Recognized the flower immediately.
@sushiwaitress I have terrible news: I left this orchid and the other #phalaenopsis and the #tillandsiaxerographica it was living with on top of my rain barrel to water them and forgot to bring them in and I went on vacation and they fried under the sun! So upsetting!
Oh no!! I'm so sorry. Don't beat yourself up too much. I know how you feel -- my husband gave me my first lithops for Christmas last year -- 13 of them! And I killed half of them with newbie mistakes.
