#wildlifewednesday I think this a Blue Mint Beetle?? Just spotted it on my tricolour sage! Sent the pic off to the RHS as they are carrying out a survey on its colonisation of the U.K. as it's a recent introduction to the uk since 2011. #bluemintbeetle #bluebeetle #insect #rhs #survey

There thought to not be a major problem at the moment @linfoster as they don't form in large enough colonies on a plant. They love all varieties of mint to munch on but apparently don't cause too much damage just a little nibble here and there 💙

Beautiful iridescence. Not a fan of bugs but it does have a pretty colour. 😯
