Help me identify this plant. The tips go roaring red while the rest is lush green. ???? I call it Stephen , but don't know how to look after him.

I think perhaps it's photinia. They tend to have bright red new growth. The green leaves look a bit lightish to what I'd expect from photinia so I'm not 100% sure.

Oh Claude, naming plants is perfectly normal! Surely everyone does that? Naming a stapler however is a leetle bit strange! 😂 @clipperty Very nice Stephen by the way Deborah! 😁

Maybe Stephen could join the #apnc Rach... I think the list could grow judging by ⬆️⬆️ Deborah’s penchant for naming things ... to explain DC, #apnc is the Alternative Plant Name Club... And what’s wrong with naming a stapler? 🤪🤪🤪 @rachelbrooks

😁 you should start a discussion asking for a picture along with the alternative name. Explain how and why they choose it. 🆒 @clipperty @rachelbrooks
