I'm dying to have a go at these Naomi, but I think it's likely to be next year! So many plans, so little time!

Do you use multipurpose compost @Naomi126? The instructions I've found mention bonsai compost.

Yup , took me 3 years to get round to my first one @valjones-hughes 🤗 I do a half mix multi with half coir- then - if I have it small gravel and vecilimite or perlite ( no idea how to spell it ) then depending on the plant slow release food to suit or seaweed liquid dunked once a week ... hope that helps @Soph1e
