The pink laui on the other hand... how to promote root growth on this one? Should I damage the stem a bit? Hover it over some water??

@Cyndi yes. Also thanks for the tags, I’m the WORST at tagging stuff lol. I haven’t had such a large succulent take this long to root before. 😭 I’m pretty sure I paid More for this guy than I have any other succulent ever too, so I’m a bit excessively worried even though it’ll probably be okay

@Cyndi I water therapy all the time, but I suppose I’m scared to do anything at all with this one. I was thinking about just hovering it over water and not letting it touch like I usually do. See if it can smell the water and would be willing to reach down for it lol

@cyndi with the humidity here I’m soooo scared this guy will just keel over without warning. I should really keep it outside where it gets more sun, but humidity is lower indoors. I should get lights and keep the ones I worry about inside. I spent all my plant money on more plants instead of lights which is honestly more important than new plants. I have a problem. Pls help. I can’t stop.

@KelsiBriana has been on dry soil this whole time, just took it off last night and have been kind of “hmmmmmm 🤔🤔” ing in it’s general direction all day lol. I’ll put it back on soil and try my best to forget about it. Wait, I’m gonna try the water hovering thing for a week before I go back to the old fashioned way.

@KelsiBriana noooo! It IS torture. I find myself looking real intensely trying to will roots into existence haha. Did your suaveolens use up a lot of leaves before finally putting out roots. I have had smaller plants turn into almost nothing before deciding to put out roots before. So frustrating!!
