@Sunseed I just Googled and it is a beautiful fern with glossy fronds. It holds the Award of Garden Merit . I think it will be best to keep it in a pot ( Full shade if possible) for a year or two. I planted one of these Painted Lady Ferns next to a Japanese Hakone Grass in a shaded part of the garden but it didn't do well at all. 2 or 3 months later , I pulled it out and put it back in a pot and it's perfectly fine now.

Yes.They appear to suit walls and shady situations
