Morning everyone. This spider has been spinning webs all over my patio from the acer. Every time I go out I walk into one of them 🕸️🕷️🕸️ #spider #wildlifewednesday #acer-palmatum-sangokaku

I hate that! Wish they would keep off the paths🙈

Oh yes, it's the 'cobwebs-in-the-hair' season 🕸

I keep mine in a pot for the same reason and have had the same thoughts as you as to whether they have a place in my garden. They cause me a lot of worry and I don't need that at my stage of life 🙄😂 @KOutdoors

I find when my acers show autumn colour really varies from plant to plant, some have had no leaves for weeks now and some have just changed.

It is beautiful, mine has a dark coloured fence behind it, this and the similar coloured dogwood are among my winter favorites

I’d love a dogwood but don’t really know where I could have one, so this is a very good compromise, I get my Acer and I get the red stems in winter. This is going to go in a large planter on my patio. @jpea
