Morning everyone. At least plants seem to be enjoying the rainy weather, I'm certainly not. I hope summer comes back soon ☔️ #liatris-spicata #blazingstar

Morning Jane .. lovely colour 💜.. not raining here atm

I love them, so pretty 💜 @juliesgarden

Summer 🤔 what is that 🤣 great looking plants 🪴 🥰

Morning Jane…the weeds seem to be enjoying it too 😕

I agree need some sun but the forecast for the next week does not look good

I'm beginning to wonder, it's depressing isn't it and thank you, I love the fuzzy wuzzy flower spikes 💜🥰 @debs69

Morning Elaine. Tell me about it, it seems to be non stop weeding at the moment doesn't it 🙄 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

I know Joan. I hope we haven't had summer 🤔 @joannie.a

It sure does…..thank goodness I’m ok on my knees to weed it’s non stop

That reminded me I had some of these. They haven’t happened this year 🤨

That's a shame Angie. You'll have to treat yourself to some more 👍 @ada31514

I’m going to have a go at these #liatrisblazingstar seeds this year. I’ve never tried them before 🤞

Good luck 🤞

Somethings to look forward to ☺️

Thanks Julie 🥰 @juliesgarden

Hopefully 😂 @Auricula

Go for it Jane 🤞

Ooo never heard of them. But sounds exciting

Happy germination

They're beautiful Charlotte, I hope the seeds germinate 🤞 @charlotte

Thanks Joan 🤞 @joannie.a

One plant I can never get to grow 🤷♂️

It just appeared in my garden a few years ago, a little gift from a bird I presume. It's never really spread much and I would love more of them so I've got to try it 🤞 @hebelover

One I look forward to seeing every year 💜 #liatris-spicata #blazingstar

Ooooo I wondered what these were in my garden

Never grown them, they look lovely💜

I hope so, although I have read they are "short lived"

They arrived in my garden about four years ago, I didn't plant them Diane. They were a lovely surprise 💜 @Diane051285

Thank you Elise. They were a little gift from an unknown source 💩🤔😂 @Auricula

I didn't know that, I'll have to try and get some seeds Joan as this is their fifth year 💜 @joannie.a

@pelly they were in a mixed pack of bulbs but I didn't know what they were called I couldn't find the name on the box 🤦 they are different

They are, I love mine 😍 @Diane051285

Lovely Jane, still waiting for mine to open, but they are in a shady spot

Thanks Joan. I hope you don’t have to wait too long for yours 👍 @joanboston

Your garden has caught up well Katy 😍 @gjones

Morning everyone 🙋♀️ This appeared in my garden in 2018, there was just one spike, three last year and five this time around. Hopefully in another couple of years or so it will form a good clump. Have a super day 💜 #liatris #blazingstar #purple

Morning Jane 🙋♂️ amazing where stuff comes from

Wow! That's an interesting looking one 🤔 @pelly! I think I need one of those 😋

Oh you do Martin, they’re fabulous. They come in pink and white too 👍 @dreggennedd

Different colours as well! Definitely adding to the list 😊 Thanks Jane

It's starting, I'm so looking forward to seeing this in flower again 💜 #liatris-spicata #blazingstar

That looks really interesting. I don’t remember seeing it before 🧐

@Pelly what an amazing flower Jane. No wonder you’ve been waiting for it. There are certain flowers that say summer to us, mine is the peony. 💚💚🌤🌝

It's gorgeous Jacqueline and it doesn't take up too much space which is a bonus in my garden 💜 @awomanonabike

It's facinating watching it go from this to a beautiful purple flower 💜 @joycemb

Great photo jane 💚

Thanks Julie 😊 @juliesgarden

@pelly How wonderful and another one for my list for next year. Thanks for posting it nice to find something new. 🙋♀️🥳😍

I might have to keep a look out for some 🧐💜

Larch Cottage have them, I just looked out of curiosity 🙄😂 @aw

You're welcome Joyce. Mine was originally a little gift from a 🐦 @joycemb

You were very lucky there. We have pigeons who have trampled some of our salads which I found unforgivable but salads now under netting with the peas. Thank heavens for such products. 🐦🐦

Afternoon everyone. The #liatris-spicata is attracting a lot of bees at the moment 🐝 #wildlifewednesday #bee #blazing-star 💜
No bees here, they would need water wings
I think my bees 🐝 have drowned 🙁
It rained heavily heavily this morning but apart from being windy it's been a lovely afternoon 😍 @joannie.a @vegandmore
