Morning everyone, have a super Sunday. When I started this garden I got 150 free bulbs of these Drooping Star of Bethlehem with a plant order. They didnβt do very well and now I only have this one left but it comes back every year π#ornithogalum-nutans #droopingstarofbethlehem

Morning janeβ¦ a true survivor πΏ

Morning Julie, so it would seem π @juliesgarden

Morning Jane, that's a shame - it's a pretty flower π

Well I suppose one is better than none.

Morning Ange, it isn't it, it's an unusual little flower π @anges

Oh definitely but I thought it would have spread a bit by now π€ @joannie.a

Morning Jane π that's probably why they were free π€£

You could well be right π @jpea

Very pretty though, shame about the rest

Theyβre a bit different and yes it is a shame. I think Iβll get some more π @hebelover

Good morning Jane itβs nice that one survived lovely memories with itπ€

Morning everyone, have a super Sunday πββοΈ #macro #droopingstarofbethlehem #ornithogalum-nutans

Morning Jane, unfortunate name ππ

Morning Jane, looks lovely but agree with JP @jpea on the name front π

Morning Jeremy, I sometimes wonder who names them πββοΈπ @jpea

Morning Elise, they are sweet little flowers but they are easy to miss πββοΈ @auricula

Morning Ange, some plants have very strange names πββοΈπ€ @anges

Morning Jane, yes there is something sad about calling a plant "drooping".

Good morning Jane pretty flowerπ€

Beautiful.. @pelly

Morning Joan, I agree and in my experience they donβt really droop πββοΈπ€ @joannie.a

Morning Jane..love those π

Morning Enid sweet isn't it π @godfreye

Iβve just managed 40 minutes in the garden weeding by hand as I didnβt want to use the hoe , there are too many bulbs coming through, including these Drooping Star of Bethlehem. My fingers and toes were so cold Iβve had to come in to warm up. Iβll try again later, still jobs to do. βοΈβοΈ

Morning Jane. You were brave. Far too cold for me. Plus we still have snow on the ground. On the positive side it is sunny today.

Just by as to be done, I've been putting it off because of the cold Charlotte. ππ

Brrrrrrrr nooooo Jane βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ

Iβve managed Nothing for a few days now Jane @pelly I will eventually get out there π

You will Suzie, I was hoping to get out again this afternoon, but my daughter came round with Emily who's been very poorly and then I had some shopping to do. I did get the slug pellets down around my Tulips though, which was on my must do list. @jadojado29 ππ

Oh no Jane @pelly is Emily getting better hope so π

She's on the mend now Suzie, she had a really bad attack of croup and ended up in A&E Monday night, they had to give her steroids to control it bless her. Lisa is exhausted, she's had precious little sleep for four nights now. Fingers crossed for her for tonight. @jadojado29 β€β€

Oh no Jane @pelly Croup is a horrible thing for a child & parents. Hope Lisa gets some rest tonight I can imagine how little sleep or rest she has had. Hope Emily goes from strength to strength. Big hug to you all π

Aww thanks Suzie, Lisa used to get it regularly when she was little, in those days you were told to put them in a steam filled bathroom, it's a bit different now. She's much better now but it's taken a toll on her little body @jadojado29 ππ

Cataloguing #notmyphoto All bulbs now in with the help of the OH Neil, and he even raked up all the leaves in the front garden. πππ

Yay. Think you deserve a cup of tea now

Just had one and now I'm going to bore the pants off everyone cataloguing them all Charlotte πππ @charlotte

πππ you won't bore me even if I don't know a flower from a weed !!!

Aww, thanks Charlotte @charlotte πππ

Thanks Laura @columbiariver πππ
I donβt know if itβs just me but thereβs something special about these flowers, perhaps itβs because the colours are unusual π₯° #droopingstarofbethlehem #ornithogalumnutans
It is rather lovely
It's pretty
Very muted colours but I think they're beautiful π₯° @joannie.a @hebelover
I planted mine in totally the wrong place, then forgot to dig them out! So they are flowering again where I canβt see them. Must remember to move them as soon as they finish flowering π€π€
I actually remembered to move mine to a better place last year after forgetting year after year π @joanboston
That is unusual
It grows on me π every year I see it π₯° @juliesgarden
I love them. Itβs a shame they donβt last for long
It is isn't it π @vegandmore
