First glad to bloom this year and i am tickled because it is yellow ! There is a story behind me and yellow flowers ! For years i bought bags of glads that offered a mix of different colors and i would never get a yellow glad and i would try again the next year and still not have a yellow gladiola..so last year i bought a bag with 50 bulbs in the bag knowing i was going to have a yellow one ... i gave some away but i knew i was going to have yellow gladiolas and last year all the glads that came
Yay !!!! 😍

I can not remember the name of this glad..I know its a more rare type that I ordered from old house garden..it didn't bloom last year so I'm excited to see what it looks like
Mine have had it with the winds and storms. The one I had left to bloom is arched over. So I'm sure he won't last long😏
@Petersburg homesteader I just read your comment to ofthought about reading about the cats collars with the bell getting stuck. I just woke up and got a very good early morning laugh that was so funny 😂

These are pretty and I have no idea which set they came from
I found a deal yesterday at the dollar store gladiola bulbs. Is it too late zone 9 Florida to plant or too hot now. Do they need full sun or partial shade?
All of mine are in full sun
I lost all of mind but 2 with the storms. Now m more rain...uggh!😫 I hope u and your family are safe. Email me, greeneyes7742@yahoo.com ,to keep in touch. TTYS!😁
@Acetaker ..my email is Marijaneburnshere@gmail..I do not have facebook ...I keep saying I'm going to make one but don't ..it would prob make it easier to keep in touch with ppl and its raining here too
Uggh! I hope It doesn't get to bad there. I'll Halla by email. Be Safe! Chat Soon!😊
@ripjuju mine were in full sun also and it's not to late to plant them. They say if you want a continuous flowering to plant in stages so when some r blooming others are coming in behind them.😊 I hope that helps ya Judy😍
I don't get on FB much but use their messenger to b able to keep in n touch with friends. But it is nice to have.😊
Pretty pink 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Sp pretty! Kristie,I lost all of mine in the wind storm we had, but 1 had decided to bloom...yayy!🙆
@Acetaker oh no! The weather here has been odd...when I start to complain about the rain I remind myself the drought was no fun last year!
Beautiful 💜
They're a beautiful color Kristi. Whastever they are I'd like a division when the grow up
Kristie,I lost all my Gladiolus with the last storm. The wind and rains really messed up our tropical garden. There is 1 standing that is just starting to bloom. My shasta daisies I had to cut them to the ground, but they r showing signs of new growth. But to look at pic on profile of b4 and after...well😢 that explains it. But it still has some beauties left to admire..just need more color...THINK THINK,as Pooh Bear says...hehe!😆

@lesliecole49 I have some this color you can have ..I bought 4 or 5 new varieties this year and that's on top of the ones I've already planted over the years and 2 were in a bag of 16 so I will either spend my summer staking glads or some nees a new home lol

Salem Steve French hanging out while I stake glads
I like Mr French. He has the right amount of attitude & dignity to be overseeing the staking of the Glads.🐾
