First glad to bloom this year and i am tickled because it is yellow ! There is a story behind me and yellow flowers ! For years i bought bags of glads that offered a mix of different colors and i would never get a yellow glad and i would try again the next year and still not have a yellow gladiola..so last year i bought a bag with 50 bulbs in the bag knowing i was going to have a yellow one ... i gave some away but i knew i was going to have yellow gladiolas and last year all the glads that came

I found a deal yesterday at the dollar store gladiola bulbs. Is it too late zone 9 Florida to plant or too hot now. Do they need full sun or partial shade?

Kristie,I lost all my Gladiolus with the last storm. The wind and rains really messed up our tropical garden. There is 1 standing that is just starting to bloom. My shasta daisies I had to cut them to the ground, but they r showing signs of new growth. But to look at pic on profile of b4 and after...well😢 that explains it. But it still has some beauties left to admire..just need more color...THINK THINK,as Pooh Bear says...hehe!😆
