I just moved from the suburbs to a house on over an acre. The previous owners were gardeners, but I have no idea what any of this stuff is!

My portulaca died over the winter (I brought it inside! Well, into the shed), so I had to get *another* one. I vow not to murder this one when winter comes!

Portulaca! I learned it was called un poco de amor. I had one in TX and loved it! Then killed it when I forgot to bring it in before the freeze. I bought another one in VA and loved it, too! Then killed it, too, when it froze. I optimistically watered the empty pot, though, all year long until life emerged! Just in time to kill it when it froze. Again. I've never had a yellow one before. I'll keep this one alive! I promise!

@hannahchristine Oh, no! It has always been my own incompetence that has murdered my plants in the past, never pest or disease. How terrible to have your flowers turn into dinner for someone else!
