My Dads Astilbe that this one came from grows up to 6 feet high!! It’s a giant.

I had one of these and have been trying to work out what it was!!! Is it a different type of astilbe?

I'm so gutted that it got the chop now!! Astilbe are one of my favs but I was convinced it wasn't as a different shaped leaf than I'm used to! Can't wait to see yours flower now!! Xx

@abeemaude oooh 😲 has it gone altogether or have you just cut it back? It’ll grow back if so. Mine is a cutting I took from Dads and it’s twice the size it was fully grown last year so I think 🤔 this year it’s going to get quite big 😁👏🏼👏🏼🤞🏼I’ll post a pick definitely when it’s flowering. 😊🙏🏼👍🏼

Hi @pixierose any flowers on yours yet? Mine came back and is huge with foliage after it's chop early on but I'm not sure that it will flower this year... can't see any spikes! Xx

This is a giant of a plant when fully grown. My Dad has one in his garden and it's at least 6 foot tall.
