My bonsai that was left for dead has certainly come on leaps and bounds. I found it again left for dead at the garden centre and it’s now full of life. It’s got me wanting more. 😊

@bluefox23 & @Keely I’m so chuffed with myself. I’ve always wanted a Bonsai but they were always very expensive so when I saw this one on the verge of being thrown out, I had to take on the challenge. 😊🙏🏼👍🏼

I rescued this poor thing. I’ve fed and watered it and taken all the dead leaves off and sprayed a mist of rainwater over it to see if I can revive it. It makes me so sad 😞 to see plants in garden centres not looked after. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I agree. I always check out reduced sections in the hope I can rescue/revive/keep plants going. Have to be ruthless sometimes and walk away!!

I'm with you @pixierose it drives me to distraction and find I talk to myself as I'm walking around the shop on how they don't look after the plants. It sooo annoys me. But us gters rescue these and give them good homes were they receive tlc. Good on ya!! 👍🏼

@Cazx Once I offered to volunteer at a B&Q that was across the road from where I lived. I said I’d water and look after the plants cause they were always dying cause no one cared for them and they said No!! Crazy, do you not think? Offering for FREE and they didn’t want to know. They would rather throw them out and lose money!!! Bonkers 😳🙈🙈🙈

Omg 😲!! I'd have volunteered to do that. Really don't understand it either. Surely they must lose billions with all the stores they have around. It doesn't make sense at all. Bank hol weekend I bought snake head fritillary, full price £4, granted it was 20% off again that weekend. Went yesterday and the same plant was on sale shelf for half price. Purely because they hadn't cared for them. Madness!! It went straight in my trolley lol

@Cazx isn’t it though?? Complete madness!! 😳🙈🤔 glad to hear though that you got some bargains too. Poor plants. I hate to see whole stands of plants reduced and nearly dead 💀 just because someone couldn’t be bothered to water them. It doesn’t take a genius to know plants need water.
