@juliesgarden good luck hope so this is quite old as mum was given it from an old friend she used to help do his garden and he had alot of old bonsai's 👍🌿

My horse chestnut looks pretty much the same so yes, probably.... I have been watering diligently though because we have had limited rain

@AnnikasGarden thank you have you ever potted yours on, she was wondering if she should get a bigger pot and some bonsai compost? It was a gift to her a few years ago and she doesn't know too much about them, but she does love it 😁

Stick buds are usually on a horse chestnut
