Need a close up of the leaves
It looks like a Chinese elm @tarca
this is a chinese elm, Ulmus parvifolia. and yes it is a deciduous or semi dediduous tree.
I've always kept mine outside, except during severe winter weather. It's doing great. A lovely little tree.
