Bradford pear, I fear. Did the flowers in spring look like ravishing apple blossoms but smell like feet? 🦶

Not to worry @plantnerdikus -- it will soon collapse under its own weight and you can replace it with something that will support local wildlife. At least where I live, Bradford pears are poisonous to local insects...

It was one of my favorite trees in the spring . It looks pretty old . I may have to chop it for fire wood now @emch

Well crabapples smell a heckuvalot better, in bloom and in the fruit! Just a suggestion!
