Ice, ice baby LOL #nakedtrees
Don’t walk under them Eileen 🤕 they do look nice though 😀
That's my doorway @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom -- I really have no choice lol
Have you got a crash helmet then ⛑ 😄
Well, another day, another spike through the head lol @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
That's nothing. The guy 2 doors down from me once had a 500-lb icicle crash through his living-room window. These are tiny compared to that specimen @KOutdoors
The front window was the only casualty @KOutdoors

The feet tree is coming into bud... #fragrant #killitwithfire
Is that the thorny one that drops painful to the feet bombs all over ? @lesliecole49 posted a pic of one of these in bloom. She is not fond of them either. 🤦♀️😒☹️
They are not at all thorny @hkyfvr but the inedible pears are a slipping hazard, among other unattractive qualities...
Too bad the pears are inedible. What a waste. Glad at least it is fragrant. Thanks for the info. Had not heard of these trees. 👍😍 Sorry I was thinking of a Callery Pear Tree. That is the one @lesliecole49 posted. Senior moment 🤪🤦♀️🤦♀️
As I say, though, @hkyfvr the flowers are fragrant of feet... 🤮
The bradford pear is a callery pear according to the internet. What I said was thorny were the trees coming from the seeds. These are a hybrid pear and the seedlings are the thorny ones. Sorry for the confusion @hkyfvr
Thanks Leslie for clearing that up. My memory is not the best lately. Getting old is not fun. Enjoy your weekend. 🌸💖😍 @lesliecole49
Another reason to cordially dislike what at work we call "stench trees" @lesliecole49
I should have said its considered an ornamental tree... @hkyfvr , Eileen
The sinister lighting helps...
