Another reason I cordially dislike this tree...after bringing in the shopping I had to sweep up all the petals tracked inside.

The cordon of blooming feet trees surrounding the building where I used to work...luckily the windows don't open lol #fragrant #killitwithfire

The slope running down from the Home Depot parking lot is infested with these; they are blooming so everything smells like feet #killitwithfire

We have been discussing same. All highway interchanges around wooster are covered. Any where soil was disturbed there are hundreds .

Is anybody doing anything about it that you know of, @moore.794 ?

Haven't seen anything being done. Should be out cutting them down or marking for cutting. Every year there are more.

We are overrun with them here too! It’s just crazy. I remember when they were introduced as the “perfect” landscape tree! If only we had a crystal ball then! Or a time travel machine!😂

Or a chainsaw and a tanker truck full of Round Up, @cheriej @moore.794

@moore.794 @cheriej I think I just found a solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWitness/comments/12r6sfq/lasguns_are_here/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

That would be fun to play with in a field of pears

Or Russian Olive, Japanese Knotweed, Phragmites australis, Autumn Olive, etc. @moore.794

Pest tree outlined in ice and back-lit by security lights #weather

Wow 😮

#killitwithfire

Sounded harsh until I Googled it.

Love it! The house we bought had 10 planted in a row at the back fence, they were packed together like a 20 year old hedge, no sun light got in, and no lawn due to all the shade. They immediately down and after a year off finding, cutting and digging up roots we had a proper pleasant garden planted with river birchs, pollinators plants, assorted perennials and a lawn, phew!

They are awful in Missouri. Every where.😪

Rats! I waited just a little too long to get this photo, and the waxing gibbous moon is once again reduced to an amorphous blob. Catching the moon on camera in the daytime seems to be the secret #nakedtrees

Lots of icicles too. Watch out for falling ice. 🙀

Don't get underneath the icicles. They will hurt u really bad.

Well I have to go under them to go in or out of my place @kelsey92

Knock them down.

The real hazard is the slick, wet ice on the stoop when they drip, @kelsey92 @hkyfvr -- and my condo dues go towards having the maintenance crew handle it. Not about to climb a rickety ladder in icy conditions

Oh blimey , be careful 🥶

Pretty to look at, bad for the roof. 💕🌞

Have the maintenance guys do it.

Finally these leaves are starting to turn #fallcolor

They sure get some pretty patterns on them, don't they?

This is the only leaf that's fallen thus far from ye olde Bradford Pear, aka Stench Tree, aka Feet Tree. The ONLY thing I like about this awful tree is the #fallcolor.
The smell of feet is everywhere 😩
🤮 the ones around here have finally finished blooming for the year. They give me one of the worst headaches. 🤕
Now there's an unexpected bonus irritation, @BettyBurks 🥺
