Central Valley, California mom/grandma who's been blessed with moderate luck with plants (knock on wood!).
Echium wildpretii - tower of jewels
I have never seen anything so amazing in my life! I wonder if it will grow in Texas?
Mine came as a seedling from a friend's yard. The only nursery I've ever seen them at is Annie's Annuals in Richmond, CA. Maybe you could order one from their website!
Is it a perennial? How tall it is? So pretty
It's a biennial, blooms in its 2nd year, drops seeds everywhere and then dies off. I deadheaded this one,
Oops, continued from above - I deadheaded it a month ago, and it's starting to bloom again!
