My prayer plant has been so much happier since I moved it to a brighter position. Not only are new scrolls popping out faster they are also larger, and more vividly coloured than before. Never underestimate the importance of location, location, location! #prayerplant #maranta

I trimmed almost all the old leaves off my prayer plant a few weeks ago. Today's leaf/scroll count: 5 new leaves, 1 scroll unfurling, and 5 new scrolls. (New leaves are brighter green and don't have distinct marks yet)

Trimmed quite a few leaves off my prayer plant, so I'm happy to see cute new leaves popping up like scrolls.. The new leaves are a brighter, lighter green than the mature ones. Ps: I learned not to put this delicate plant in direct sun - the leaves burn. (Hence the trimming. But well, it was due for a pre-Spring trim anyway heh) #prayerplant
