I have my #transplants growing in #containers right now...but wondering if I should plant them in-ground. I'm in the U.S. in zone 8b in Texas. Any #tips ? @treefrog44 @lovestogarden @ShelleySnyder @cyndi @KariSamuel @columbiariver @lesliecole49 @moore.794 just to ask a few.... ☺

When I lived in TX I had mine planted in the ground, they always came back from the roots after winter, I think they grew better being in the ground :) they will get pot bound staying in the pot and it will be harder to keep watered during the hot summer....

In Wisconsin mine has only been an annual. 😔

I have the worst luck with passion flower, but I do know they would do better for you in the ground, they can get quite big. In your zone there should be several that would survive winter, good luck Kyla!💘😍

I live in such a different zone that I don't know how to add anything to the information you have been given. I had an inedible one that grew huge and flowered year round. But, @treefrog44 would know best. ❤

Thank y'all so much everyone! Y'all have been a tremdous help! I think I'm going to keep one in the pot for now and plant the others in ground. I'll have one that I can bring in and over-winter... to keep it growing all year round. I've heard you can grow them in pots in the house and they will even bloom indoors. @treefrog44 @cyndi @lovestogarden @ShelleySnyder @KariSamuel 💕💕💕

Thank you @lesliecole49 it's ok. Hope You had a good time out of town. I just went on a little vacy myself. It was needed. Just stressed cause I came home to too many dead plants cause the person I left in charge over watered some and not enough on others. So I'm a little livid! But bless him...hes my boyfriend and I love him so much! I can't stay mad at him. I'd rather have him than some old plants. They are replaceable....he isnt! ☺💕

I came home yo almost dead plants myself. My roommate/renter swore she'd water plants and feed the birds while I was gone, but, noooo. I got home just in time! Also discovered she fed the dogs cat food all week!

I think all but two made it, (the ones in containers, the in ground I wasn't as worried about) and maybe part of one of those might make it. They are (were) annuals so it doesn't hurt as much
