Me too, @rachelbrooks ! The crimped edges remind me of delicate sugar flowers made using a mould.

They do! Had something similar on my wedding cake! 😆

I have found the Latin name Vallaris glabra but unfortunately it isn't available any where in UK 🙁

This lovely woody #climber is native to #India and #Burma . A study of the flavour molecule, 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (found in basmati rice/ jasmine), noted that this flavour molecule is synthesised in abundance in the basmati plant, as it is in these bread flowers and pandan leaves.
