Daucus carota subsp. sativus 'Cosmic Purple'

First time growing veg... My purple carrots are abit leggy... Anyone know why? They still taste delicious 😋

Looks like the ground is too hard for them and they have tried there best to find somewhere to grow. Try adding more sand and organic material to the area your growing them in. Lovely colours

Thanks James. Will try adding that and hopefully get better shaped carrots next time :)
