Compactum. As far as I can tell there’s there’s 3 major clones of compactum: 1) bluish color, long leaves, wide rosette 2) bluish color, short leaves, taller stacking rosette 3) green/red color, short leaves, taller stacking rosette. The third form is most commonly seen in East Asian collections, the second form most common in the US, and the first form relatively rare. Longwood Gardens in PA has the first and second forms growing right next to each other and the difference is striking
