Hi Racha, welcome to GTags 👋
hi @pelly thank you
@racha Where do you live? Welcome to this lovely community!
@carmen-sylva thank you 🌸. I live in Tunisia
@racha Lovely! How come there are no bees?
@carmen-sylva a few weeks ago there was a lot of bees surrounding my flowers but now no one to be found and I think the hornets killed them as i found some trying to make a nest on one of my plants. Am going to grow more flowers hopefully more bees will come. If you have any idea how i can get rid of the hornets plz tell me.
@racha I have no experience with hornets but itโs a good question to ask the community of knowledgeable gardeners. #advice #advice-needed How to get rid of hornets?? Any advice? @pelly @Davidward @docthrill @anges
Apparently they hate the smell of peppermint oil - you could mix it with water and make a spray. I wonder if growing peppermint would work aswell? That smells really strong - I've got it growing in my garden. If there's a nest you may be able to contact your local council to remove it. @carmen-sylva
Lovely photo
