Morning everyone! #callicarpa in flower, hopefully this will mean a lovely winter display of berries, although I may give it a prune after its flowered.

I don’t think you have to Jane, mine is just not behaving itself and the best time to prune is after flowering (so the rhs says anyway). 🤞 @pelly

Definitely Jane, I probably wouldn’t in it’s first year, let it establish. As I say, I’m only doing it out of necessity! 😊 @pelly

Hello Richard, interesting shrub, very nice tiny flowers and it provides winter colour. I will look for it in my local garden centre.

My one was slow for the first few years Suzy. But it seems to have picked up now! @suzyw

I've just had a look and you are right. I was lead to believe they were highly toxic by someone on here. Thanks for putting me right, I can look for one now. Happy days 😀😀😀
