10/19/18 my husband and I had our first day off together since I stopped being a stay at home mom. We cleaned the hell out of our new backyard. 10/19/18 #harvest #sugarapple #fruit #fruittree I harvested fruit today to either give away or sell. I work at a farmers market and at hoping my boss will buy them for me at a decent price considering how much sour sop and cherimoya are sought after from my customers. The one opened in the picture was perfectly ripe off the tree the others have lightened segments and are soft but I kept branches in tact to help ripen. #yummy #gyo #gyofruit #fruitharvest #sugarapples #sweetsop

@tkept I’m not sure if there’s any recipes that call to cook this, but I’ve only eaten it as is! Very sweet. Almost like just eating sugar

9/20/18 from far away it looked more ripe so I had my husband get on the ladder and get this bad boy down. Like I said. The size of a grapefruit. Not ripe yet and he didn’t cut any bit of branch or leaves with it... I hope it ripens okay... I have smaller ones that are close to ripe I took with some branch attached so I’ll try those too. #sugarapple #fruit #fruittree #large #largefruit #bigfruit

Also, to clarify, I took a few inside off the tree because I wanted to get a chance at the fruit before critters did lol

When i looked at this i seen a ghost with eyes that looked scared i often see images of stuff in everyday stuff the time of year is just fitting too thanks for sharing

Score! I have seen these but would have never guessed that they are edible.

@ohhyouknow yes! Im not a fan of many fruit at all, but this is often called custard apple because that’s honestly what it tastes and has the consistency of. Very interesting!
