9/4/18 I might try to dig up my #gladioli when we move I wasn’t going to but look at this #newgrowth like holy crap I just found this offshoot and it’s so big now!!

8/21/18 thought my #gladioli died so I went to dig them up and only two died. Four have #newgrowth go figure!

FINALLY!!! It seems like FOREVER ago I transplanted these to this spot. They have had zero growth... until now! (7/10/18) One out of six finally has a #flowerbud #gladioli #gladiolus #flower #gladiolus-purple-rain Btw I’m psure I planted them late for my zone which is why I have this result. Damn hot summers.

I had to stake my #gladiolus . It’s been super windy as well as rainy, and they just couldn’t stand on their own anymore since I’ve spread them apart. Here’s to hoping it didn’t damage the plants! #gladiolus-purple-rain #stakes #windydays #rainydays

And all finished! Mulched up and everything (I then mulched the cactus next to it and the two jasmines). I hope they like it! I tried to be careful, and I also researched what I could. @cschulz02 I’m in the Pinellas Park area but closer to largo. My husband and I go to the Pinellas gardens pretty frequently for a game on our phone, and we get to see pretty plants while we are there ☺️👌🏼 it is cool to see people so close. The closest I’ve found is Miami

@redmomma - I live off of 66th St No, near 102nd/Bryan Dairy in Clearwater Cascades MH Park. So we’re not far apart, for sure! We will have to get together some day! 🌴🌺🐾

I took my risk, and moved my gladiolus... they were so close, I don’t think they could have grown anymore. I VERY carefully untangled the roots. And I snapped a photo before putting in the ground. #transplant #pot-to-bed #purplerain #purpleraingladiolus #gladiolus-purple-rain #middlestage

Easily three feet tall now... and still in the same pot... they need room to breathe, but I’m on a budget 😩😩 (don’t want to put in ground because we are supposed to move, but I might have to... any tips on being careful with the roots? I wasn’t expecting these to grow they were dollar store impulse buys, and they flourished). #gladiolus
