Fuchsiaberry. Photographed yesterday, 11 October 2017, at Reedie Cottage Gardens, East Scotland. Discovered one of my Fuchsiaberry plants, covered in flowers again, last night! Came as a BIG surprise! The 'berries' are still pumping up, so not tried one yet, but will soon. Hope they are as good as promised!!! 🤗 #fuchsiaberry #flowering #purple #red #reediecottagegarden
Wow did not know edible. Thanks will try. Flowers ediable too. @reedie-cottsge
@moore.794 Hi Terry. Apparently, all Fuchsia flowers are edible, but can be a bit bitter. However, both Fuchsiaberry flowers, and berries, have been bred to be sweet tasting. Have tried a flowers or two, and they are ok, and look great as a garnish. According to Thompson & Morgan, you can get up to 300 berries per plant! Have a look at their website for more info.... https://www.thompson-morgan.com/p/fuchsia-fuchsiaberry/t67523TM
Thanks @reedie-cottsge

Fuchsiaberry. Potted up and photographed today, 3 May 2017, at Reedie Cottage Garden, East Scotland. Bought these plugs of Fuchsiaberry from Thompson & Morgan. Lovely flowers which are also edible! Each plant produces about 300 berries, which are edible, and taste somewhere between a fig and a kiwi. Looking forward to trying these. Got 5 plants to see how it goes. Will put updates as plant flowers and fruits.
Oh please do David 😊😊
Fuchsiaberry. Photographed yesterday, 11 October 2017, at Reedie Cottage Gardens, East Scotland. Another photo of more flowers on one of my Fuchsiaberry plants. Really pleased with how many flowers I've had, and The number of 'berries' I'm going to have. Still to be tasted tho. #fuchsiaberry #flowering #purple #red #berries #excited #reediecottagegarden
