This Hellebore has continued to flower and flower for a few months now, and is still covered in flowers! I have done nothing to this plant (and it is only one plant) for a good few years, as I keep forgetting about it, and it surprises me year after year. Another beauty!

Helleborus orientalis hybrid. Photographed today, 11 Jan 2017. The only plant, of many, that I could find in flower. So far this Winter has been very mild, and has not been cold enough to kick-start my Hellebores. Lots of foliage growth, but a lack of buds etc. We had powerful gales last night, so plenty of mayhem in garden this morning!!!!

Despite the sub-zero temperatures all this week, some as low as -6°C, it was great to come across this Hellebore orientalis hybrid, flowering away. Photos taken on 23 Nov 2016 at Reedie Cottage Garden, East Scotland. #helleborus #earlywinter #wintercolour #reediecottagegarden
