They love well drained soil and make sure it gets plenty of sun ,this plant will die in winter and come back when the temperature rises

@Acetaker I get 1 flower every other day or so. Usually has 10-15 buds but never more than 1 flower! The Vine itself is finally starting to grow so maybe it'll take off. I hope so. It's going to be time to move it inside soon 😔

Took a couple pics today waiting on a bloom. Neglected to mention it was in a pot. Hoping it overwinters well. Or well enough!
We have tons of the blue kind growing in a field at the nursery where I work. I did cuttings of it today also. Too bad it is a sterile variety
@Doomsdoor what does that mean, exactly? And how do you know? I've always had annual gardens in rentals so I have plenty to learn about propagation. I'm still in the "hope this works, guess we'll find out next year" stage. Looking to least what i can though

@rennezoe - I'm in Wisconsin, and mine WAS in a pot, it froze and I lost it. Any chance you have seeds that we can swap? It isn't frost hardy here.
Kari,I wish mine put off seeds this yr..I think it may either b where I have it or just it being 1st yr. I'm going to put it in the ground and see next yr..fingers crossed🤞 @KariSamuel
I don't have seed this year but I did take several cuttings and have a few in water and potting mix. Also trying the layering thing. If I have any luck I'll let you know @KariSamuel
