I live in the North East of England. I have a large garden for 7years now and it has taught me a lot! Learning all the time.

@rachelbrooks Here is a bit of the ivy in my garden. There is much more I haven't shown. So you see why I wouldn't put it in a form. 😣😣😣

It gets out of hand so quickly, only worth it if you have a huge garden!

😳 yes Linda! Although when we moved here all my fences were completely covered with it...it was a bit of a battle to keep it under control. Then new people moved in next door and totally gutted their whole garden including removing all the ivy (and ripping my fence panels out in the process!) and I have to say I actually miss it! 😁 it did at least provide evergreen cover and hide the fence!

@rachelbrooks It is actually tearing up the fence it's on. I actually like it where it is in the photos but I have so much more. And yes @joanboston I have a third of an acre but don't need any more ivy! 😂😂😂

I can see why you wouldn't want any more! 😁

I'm slowly getting rid of the ivy at the bottom of the garden. Found two sheds and a chicken coop under the last lot! So far gained about 12 foot extra garden too. @rachelbrooks @joanboston

Good grief Chris! That's extreme ivy! How nice to have gained all that space! 👍🏼 @chrisf

It meant I had room for a new shed @rachelbrooks ! Just need to keep the ivy away from it.

Well done! @chrisf. The ivy is crazy stuff and if you're not careful it can turn your garden to a jungle! 🍃🌿🌴
