Caught the Old Rose bug in the 90's and they have taken centre stage in my gardens ever since. I overfill my borders to the point of ridiculousness!
Are these invasive?
They can be a little aggressive in damp or boggy soil but they do look fantastic in a large drift when allowed to spread. I grow mine in a well drained mixed border with roses, hardy geraniums etc and they make a well behaved sturdy clump.
They are lovely though & the bees like them which is good 😀
