Another Fritillary. This crown imperial is a lovely red colour. You can see here why it's important to plant on its side - there is a large hole in the middle of the bulb and this could collect with water over time. #fritillary #fritillaria #fritillaria-imperialis #crownimperial

They are yellow but I can't remember which variety Richard as I'm not at home at the moment will check and tell you later ☺️

I've still not managed to get mine planted Richard but did manage to find out which one it is, it's Fritillaria maxima lutea and has yellow flowers 💛. Well it hopefully will have if I get it planted! @richard.spicer.7906 😊
