Not sure what happened to this iris, but it’s been praying to the Iris gods for days and never fully unfurled, and now it’s dying back. And doesn’t look like any more will appear from this pot now for 2020. I can only hope it’s ok underground and not rotting #iris #irisreticulata #iris-reticulata #irisreticulataseabreeze

I think it's because it's not in the sun or the temperature is too low. I noticed some of my earlier ones didn't unfurl properly last year but the ones flowering in March were ok.

Not sure, but I’d be surprised if it were due to those reasons Urszula as they are in full sun and the daytime temps in the polytunnel range between 10 degrees and 22 degrees (like yesterday). It hasn’t impacted any other of my Iris in flower. I’ll see if any foliage emerges, and if not then I’ll empty the pot and see how the roots look @ublaszko

18/02/19 - Dwarf Iris Update - I’ve had so many plants in flower already in the polytunnel, but couldn’t post at the time.
