Prunella vulgaris

16/06/19 - my lawn is far from being pristine, I prefer it wild and messy and it makes it a good ecological attraction 😄 - I’m convinced it’s what brings in many of the birds and animals, and all the flying pollinators. So it’s left to it’s own devices, and I’ve decided to start a new project in a couple of weeks to make a traditional small wildflower meadow patch in the middle of it. I don’t mow my lawn usually between mid-May to mid-July, and it’s full of interesting plants like this

Prunella vulgaris (Selfheal), just starting to open up. You can see all the Achillea millefolium seedlings too, which is the common white yarrow. They will all be in full bloom soon #plantsforpollinators #prunella #prunellavulgaris #selfheal
