Another healthy growing cacti - I just scrolled back to previous pic and it was from last year and almost same setting in tunnel with fleece, but it’s def evident it has filled out and got bigger this year. It flowered last year for the very first time in years and I put that down to being much happier outside than stuck indoors on a window. It also confirmed the name for me as it had bright orangey red flowers, didn’t post a pic at the time but hoping will get it this year 👍🏼

I see in your last post this was Albipilosa. That is the one I have. I’ve never seen it flower yet though. 🌞

Yes, that’s it 😄👍🏼 @sunlovin - I couldn’t find a specific encyclopaedia entry for albipilosa other than the main fiebrigii record. I’ve read it is synonymous but I’m guessing it must be a distinct form or variety as it is much more hairy than the straight species. The flowers were amazing, gutted I didn’t find a photo of it but will get another this year and tag you

It does, like little pillows although I’m not sure I’d want to rest my head on them 😆🤭 - it’s had a lot of neglect over the years @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Update pic as haven’t posted this in a long time #cactus #rebutia it seems awfully hairy, maybe I have the wrong ID - anyone have any alternative suggestions? PlantID #cactusid

(Note - might be what was known as Rebutia albipilosa, although that seems to be a synonym for Rebutia fiebrigii - hoping it will flower this spring as I’ve never seen any flowers from memory)

Confirmed as Rebutia albipilosa (which is now synonymous with Rebutia fiebrigii). Changed tag. started flowering this week for the first time, bright red-orange flowers #rebutia #rebutiaalbipilosa #rebutia-albipilosa #rebutiafiebrigii #rebutia-fiebrigii #whitehairedcrown #whitehairedcrowncactus

Ok, feel like I should post some pics of the rest of my house plants. This is another cactus which I've had for a long time with no label. I think it's Rebutia muscula never flowered in the time I've had it but hoping to repot it in the spring and move it to a move sunny position. If it is this Rebutia, then this species typically has orange coloured flowers. If anyone has any other ID suggestion please do let me know 😀 (I put the cup in the photo as a comparison to its size 🌵)
