Spathiphyllum wallisii

This peace lily is kept in a very, very dark bathroom. But look at it... it loves it! And it flowers every year. It’s doubled in size since I repotted it last summer. @Richard.spicer lovely plant Richard and I have now seen them growing in the Atlantic Rain Forest in Argentina and they grow in the undergrowth below all the trees so obviously don’t really like too much light and sun.

They are great plants aren't they, and apparently do a good job of cleaning the air. I'm after the giant leaf one, I bought one for my daughter and niece and wish I'd got myself one now 😊

I lost mine after a few years. 😣

Sounds good for the house then 😄 I’d have more but think two will do for now. It was one but i split them about 5 years ago. The large leaf form sounds amazing @angiecrazycatlady

It’s really green (and dusty 😂 just don’t zoom in!) I’ve never got into the habit of misting it Lin, but I guess the humidity is high enough already for it @linfoster

My Peace Lillies, they currently reside in the bathroom where it's quite shady and humid air. This is about 8 years old, and was originally one plant that has been split into two about a couple of years ago #peacelily #spathiphyllum #houseplant #spathiphyllum-wallisii #spathiphyllumwallisii
