11/09/19 - ooo a yellow one, last three to open had been red! Might label this one up and separate it off later in the year πŸ˜πŸ’› #tigridia #tigridia-pavonia #tigridiapavonia #mexicanshellflower #yellow

Thanks Pearl 😊, they need a bit of staking but mine are probably about 60-70cm tall. They look like gladioli leaves, if that’s a good comparison perhaps πŸ€”πŸ‘πŸΌ @fuschia

I think I can spare a red one for you Julie πŸ‘πŸΌ - I’ve labelled each stem so when the foliage dies back I’ll lift them for you. Might buy another pack next year, was hoping for a white one (I think they come in white too don’t they?) - also letting them go to seed as thought I’d give that a go @vec

Thanks Katy, quite something - Shame they only last a day, but worth growing them if you catch them open 😊 @gjones

Not fully sure as it’s my first year growing them, but if I recall I think they would probably dislike the winter U.K. wet. I’ll probably keep them in the polytunnel over winter as a precaution πŸ‘πŸΌ @edelweiss001
