I think it's growing ok. Lower leaves recently rotted and fell. Its leaves used to arch upward, now downward....

@KelsiBriana wow! This unusual look is a kind of Cotyledon :O thank you so much for identifying this plant ❤ I guess "aloe" simply came from its look, not meaning a cross between aloe and Cotyledon?
