The propery next to ours was homesteaded in the early 1900's (I think. I don't know the exact date). No one lives there now but the original family were avid gardeners. So often I'll find plants popping up that wouldn't be considered "wild". Like this rose. It's lovely, with that strong, classic rosewater scent. Struggling a bit bc the area it's in is overgrown with ivy and grass. I'd love to propogate it (or even move it but I don't know if I'd ever be able to find the rootball in that mess).
