Blossom is fading but, baby cherries are forming even in this chilly April!
Fan shape is looking good. I get to try the fruit this year!

@lisa868 me too! It surprises me how much I love it. Its the only shady corner of my #littlegarden and its true what the experts say a trouble area can be an opportunity. Now I wish I had more shade. 😜

Do it! I have no idea what I'm doing really. But so far it's easy. I started with a barefoot tree from Blackmoor Nurseries and it had a good natural shape that I could see a fan in so I decided to try.
Fan training begins!
Also today the first cherry blossom have opened. Two ants visiting the blossom but no signs of aphids yet...
Cherry blossom is coming, being an acid cherry it is a late bloomer
