Hello Roslyn 👋 Thanks for posting what we hope will be the first of many photos. 👏 You can find other like-minded gardeners to follow by tapping on Discover and then "Popular" or "Recommended". If you need to reply to a user or just want to say 'hello', simply @username an individual i.e. @teamgardentags and that person will get an alert in their profile. Enjoy using GT! 😃
Hash tags are a great way to group photos by topic and/or subject matter. Anyone can start a hashtag or add to one. Simply place a # ahead of any word or phrase you want to create or add to. Hashtags can be fun!! 😊 But mainly tags are useful when doing a search for something, including admin who use them at times to compile posts/collages. 😊
@humus This is not in its natural state. It is a poinsietta tree (not native to Australia) and this dendrobium is not native to Australia, but, I do have a native orchid in a gum tree which is way to high up in the tree for a photo. Also I a native orchid in a camphor laurel (not indigenous to Australia) in flower at the moment that I can post tomorrow.
@humus Wow, I haven't heard of that program. I will have to have a listen to the podcasts as well. Thanks for the tip. Hahaha, funny isn't it that someone from half way around the world informs me of a radio program only 1100kms away.

Wow, ROSWEL. Living in Belgium, this is the first time I have seen an orchid in it's natural place...in a tree! Is this in your garden?

Ah! Just to let you know that since 2 years I listen every weekend to The Garden Clinic podcast from 2GB radio in Sydney, with Graham Ross!
